Life Create Co., Ltd. ("we", "us" or "the Company") handles personal information in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws and guidelines. This policy sets out how personal information is handled on our website at https://lifecreateco.com/ (the "Site").
This English text is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Japanese version shall prevail.

02Information we collect
(1) Information you provide directly
Through the contact form or by email, we collect your company or organisation name, your name, email address, phone number (optional), the subject of your enquiry, and any information contained in your message.
(2) Information collected automatically
When you browse the Site, cookies and similar technologies automatically collect the following. Where such information can identify an individual in combination with other information, we treat it as personal information.
- IP address
- Browser and device information (OS, screen size, language settings)
- URLs of pages viewed, date and time of access, and time spent
- Referring URL
- Interaction records such as clicks and scrolling
03Purposes of use
We use the information collected for the following purposes, and will obtain your consent before using it beyond their scope.
- Responding to enquiries, consultations and requests for estimates
- Performing contracted work and communicating about it
- Providing information about our services and events
- Reviewing and responding to partnership or business proposals
- Analysing use of the Site and improving the Site and our services
- Preventing unauthorised access and misuse

04Cookies and external transmission of information
The Site uses the following external services to understand and improve how it is used. Using them causes information to be sent from your device to those providers. In accordance with Article 27-12 of Japan's Telecommunications Business Act, we disclose the details below.

05Provision to third parties
We do not provide personal information to third parties without your prior consent, except where required by law, where necessary to protect a person's life, body or property and consent is difficult to obtain, where particularly necessary for public health or the sound upbringing of children and consent is difficult to obtain, or where cooperation with a national or local government body performing statutory duties would be impeded by obtaining consent.
06Outsourcing
We may outsource all or part of the handling of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes above. In such cases we assess the suitability of the contractor, impose security obligations by contract, and exercise necessary and appropriate supervision. Our principal contractors are Netlify, Inc. (hosting and form receipt) and our email and business system providers.
07Transfers to third parties in foreign countries
As a result of the outsourcing described above and the external services listed in section 04, your information may be stored and processed on servers located in the United States. The United States is not a country recognised as having a personal information protection system equivalent to Japan's. We make such transfers after confirming that the recipient has established a system conforming to the standards under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

08Security measures
- Organisational — We appoint a data protection manager and define which staff handle personal information and its scope.
- Personnel — Staff receive regular briefings on handling personal information, and confidentiality obligations are set out in employment rules or contracts.
- Physical — Areas where personal information is handled are managed, as is the storage and removal of documents and electronic media containing it.
- Technical — The entire Site is encrypted with TLS. Access rights to systems handling personal information are limited to what is necessary, and defences against unauthorised external access are in place.
09Retention period
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes of use, and delete or anonymise it without delay thereafter, except where a retention period is prescribed by law. Enquiries and contact details are retained, as a rule, for three years from our last correspondence with you.
10Disclosure, correction and suspension of use
You or your representative may request notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion of content, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties, in respect of retained personal data. Please contact us at the address below.
We will verify your identity before responding. Where identity cannot be verified, or where we cannot comply under applicable law, we will explain the reason. No fee is charged.
11Minors
Our services are intended for corporate clients and adults. If you are under 16, please obtain the consent of a parent or guardian before providing personal information.
12Services other than this Site
This policy governs the handling of personal information on this Site. Applications and other services we may offer in future will have their own policies, published within those services.
We are not responsible for the handling of personal information on external websites reached from this Site. Please review the policies of those sites.
13Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy in response to changes in law or in our business. A revised policy takes effect when posted on this page. We will give clear notice on this page of any significant change.
